These days can be so much fun, but fun is a lot of work- picking outfits, learning about holidays, making everything color coordinate- you know what I mean Mama. It's a lot of work! I try as hard as I can to downplay as many holidays as I can, unless there is an opportunity to bring healthy snacks into the mix. Then its fair game. So in my house, we honor St. Patrick with one of my favorite healthy green smoothies that tastes amazing and boosts immunity. Plus it's a pretty green that I just love. I may receive some commissions for any purchases that you make through those links, making it possible for me to give you more tips to be a healthy and happy mama. Thank you for your support! This St. Patrick’s Day Smoothie is great for you and the kids. First, it is DELICIOUS. Second, this green smoothie is packed with Antioxidants and Vitamin C to keep your families immune system running strong. Third (and most importantly), it is a beautiful natural shade of green, so you can celebrate the holiday and move on all before breakfast. Who could ask for more?? This green smoothie recipe makes 2 servings and should keep everyone nice and full all morning long. The combination of carbohydrates and protein will make the morning a breeze Mama. A note on blending Kale When I was first making this smoothie, I noticed how it takes longer to blend kale over other leafy greens, but keep at it!
