Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Well, almost. Happy holiday planning, really. These days can be so much fun, but fun is a lot of work- picking outfits, learning about holidays, making everything color coordinate- you know what I mean Mama. It's a lot of work!
I try as hard as I can to downplay as many holidays as I can, unless there is an opportunity to bring healthy snacks into the mix. Then its fair game. So in my house, we honor St. Patrick with one of my favorite healthy green smoothies that tastes amazing and boosts immunity. Plus it's a pretty green that I just love.
Disclosure: Us Mama's are busy and we have the gift of home delivery, so for your convenience I have included some links of my favorite things from Amazon. I may receive some commissions for any purchases that you make through those links, making it possible for me to give you more tips to be a healthy and happy mama. Thank you for your support!

A note on blending Kale
When I was first making this smoothie, I noticed how it takes longer to blend kale over other leafy greens, but keep at it! You also might want to consider looking into a new blender like this one. If you plan on utilizing smoothies for most of your mornings, you definitely want to consider a Ninja. We use ours at least once a day!
If this recipe doesn’t work for you and your family, consider the alternatives below! You might find something that can mix it up
Replace the kiwi’s with a cup of strawberries
To reduce the sweetness, add a cup of spinach to the smoothie before blending.
